How To Clean The White Rubber On Sneakers
It'south inevitable…. I've never had a pair of white soled shoes that didn't turn dingy, dingy and anything-but-white in less than a month. And, I promise, I'one thousand really non the type to walk through dirt or mud on a regular ground.
Afterwards I realized I had a pile of shoes that I never clothing because they look and then run downwardly and filthy, I went on a hunt for the easiest, laziest way to make clean them. I knew I wasn't going to do anything that required unlacing them or using the washing motorcar. I mean, come up on! That'southward fashion too much work.
I ran across this super piece of cake tip on Pinterest that seemed at first to be too good to be truthful, but I thought "What the heck, I have nothing to lose". And then, I rolled up my sleeves, grabbed a few cotton balls, and grabbed the one thing I ever have on hand in my bathroom chiffonier– Blast Smooth REMOVER!
Yep, that's right. Smash shine remover. Makes sense, correct? If it tin can remove nail shine, I don't see why it tin can't remove scuff marks and dirt off of white rubber soles.
Simply soak a few cotton balls with a generous corporeality of nail polish remover, and scrub the white rubber soles of any shoes until they await squeamish and white. Trust me, they'll expect make new!
However, DO Not use the nail polish on the canvas or fabric role of shoes considering that might cause discoloring. I simply wiped the fabric part downwardly with a really warm wash cloth and it seemed to exercise the trick. I didn't even bother with the laces, but you tin place them in a bleach solution (3/4 part warm h2o and 1/four part bleach) to whiten them as well.
Equally you can see, I'one thousand really happy with the outcome of this simple trick. I wonder what else I can clean with nail polish remover??
